Our adventure begins in the vibrant city of Porto. Nestled along the Douro River, Porto's historic charm and the famous Port Wine lodges await your exploration. Meet your Tour Leader at 6 PM in the hotel reception for a welcome meeting, followed by an optional dinner and orientation walk. If you arrive early, take the time to immerse yourself in Porto's rich culture and history. No cycling today.

After breakfast, we ensure our bikes are ready before embarking on a scenic ride through downtown Porto, crossing the iconic Luís I Bridge. We follow the Douro River and continue along the stunning Atlantic Coast to Furadouro. This quaint resort town offers a pristine sandy beach and pine-fringed dunes. Our premium hotel (or similar) is conveniently located by the beach, providing breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Total cycling distance: 43 km (26.7 miles).

We begin our day cycling from Furadouro, passing through the charming town of Ovar. Continuing along the coastal trail, we reach Sao Jacinto, a village surrounded by stunning landscapes of beaches, dunes, and pine forests. After a short ferry ride, we cycle to Aveiro, known for its picturesque canals and vibrant Moliceiros boats. Explore Aveiro's enchanting center or opt for a boat tour. Our accommodation is a traditional Portuguese townhouse (or similar) in the heart of Aveiro. Total cycling distance: 48 km (29.8 miles).

After breakfast, we cycle through the colorful beachfront houses of Costa Nova, then head south through scenic marshlands to Praia de Mira. From there, we travel to Nazaré, a town renowned for its colossal waves and surfing culture. Our hotel (or similar) is less than 100 meters from the beach, offering panoramic views of the Atlantic. Spend the afternoon at the beach or visit the lighthouse for stunning vistas. Total cycling distance: 40 km (24.8 miles).

Today's ride takes us south along the coast to the charming beach town of Sao Martinho do Porto. We continue to Foz de Arelho for a delightful beachfront lunch. The afternoon is free to enjoy the expansive beaches, perfect for windsurfing or a leisurely stroll. Our hotel (or similar) is ideally situated between Obidos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, within walking distance of the beach. Total cycling distance: 30 km (18.6 miles).

Our final cycling day takes us along the coast to Peniche, with a stop in the picturesque medieval town of Obidos for a walking tour. Peniche, set on a headland surrounded by the sea, is known for its fishing port and excellent beaches. Explore the historic center and the old fort, which once held political prisoners. Our family-run hotel (or similar) is located in a 19th-century building in Peniche's lively city center, just a short walk from the ocean. Total cycling distance: 48 km (29.8 miles).

After breakfast, our tour concludes. You are free to depart at any time, with luggage storage available at the hotel. If you have a later flight, take the opportunity to further explore Lisbon.
