Welcome to Portugal! Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Porto. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your river ship where you'll meet your fellow travelers and Cruise Director. As the sun sets, enjoy a welcome reception while cruising along the Douro River, taking in the beautiful sights.

Start your day cruising along the Douro River, surrounded by countless vineyards. Participate in a Portuguese language lesson before visiting the picturesque village of Lamego. Here, explore the baroque cathedral, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies, and one of Portugal's top museums. Don't miss the chance to taste the local specialty, Bola de Lamego. The day ends in Pinhao with a special Insider Experience.
Day 3 – Day 3: Pinhao to Vega de Terron and Castelo Rodrigo

Today, we cross the border into Spain, docking at Vega de Terron. Spend your leisure time before joining an excursion to the hilltop village of Castelo Rodrigo. Explore the well-preserved ruins, the castle, and the magnificent statue of Santiago Matamoros. After the exploration, return to your ship.
