They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Day 2 – Day 2: Exploring Lisbon

Begin your day with a city tour of Lisbon, the Portuguese capital known for its seven hills, charming alleys, and beautiful tiles. Visit the historic Belem neighborhood, a launching point for 15th-century Portuguese navigators. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint. Optionally, you can join an excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. As evening falls, return from the lively Restauradores Square to your hotel.

Bid farewell to Portugal as we journey through the beautiful region of Alentejo, making a coffee stop in the charming town of Estremoz. Explore the tranquil Retiro Park, a city oasis featuring a lake and the Glass Palace. Enjoy a visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home to Real Madrid, one of the world's top football clubs. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, exploring the city's many attractions. As the day ends, return to your hotel for a good night's rest.

Depart Madrid in the morning and travel through the lands of Castile to Aragón. Make a brief stop in Zaragoza to visit the Pilar Basilica. Continue to the Monastery of Poblet, one of the world's best-preserved medieval monasteries, surrounded by its walls in a beautiful setting (entrance included). In the evening, arrive in Barcelona, one of Europe's most vibrant cities.

Today, we'll transfer you to the station to board the high-speed train from Barcelona to Paris. Sit back and enjoy the scenic journey, arriving in the French capital in just over six hours. Upon arrival, we'll transfer you to your hotel. Your guide will contact you in the evening or you can check the information at the hotel reception.

Immerse yourself in French history with a visit to the grand Palace of Versailles and its beautiful gardens (admission not included). On our way back to Paris, we'll visit Montmartre, a bohemian neighborhood known for its artists and cabarets. Take a cable car ride (included) to the top for a panoramic view of the city. Enjoy a city tour with a local guide to admire Paris's impressive avenues and monuments. Return to your hotel and consider an optional variety show in the evening.

Begin your day at the iconic Eiffel Tower. You'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this remarkable monument (ticket included). Then, enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which beautifully bisects the city of Paris. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the city at your leisure. Note: In some cases, the wait to ascend the Eiffel Tower can be long, so the climb may take place at a different time or on Sunday for organizational reasons.

Travel to the heart of France, to the Bourgogne region, renowned for its wines. Visit Beaune, a town in the center of Bourgogne, with its flower-filled streets, hospice, and wine museum. Continue to Lyon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône, with its historic center declared a World Heritage site. Take a cable car to Notre Dame de Fourvière for a stunning view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. Note: In some cases, part of the group may be accommodated in Chambery, a city near Lyon.
Day 11 – Day 11: Journey to Switzerland

Today, we set off for Switzerland. Arrive in Geneva and pass by the Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations. Visit the beautiful English Garden with its flower clock and admire the 'Jet d'Eau', Europe's highest fountain. After lunch, continue traveling through Switzerland, passing by the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel lakes. Stop in Neuchatel for a walk by the lake, the historic town center, or a visit to its beautiful 10th-century castle. In the late afternoon, arrive in Zurich. Note: Depending on the number of passengers, this part of the trip might be done by train, in which case there will be no stop in Neuchatel.
Day 12 – Day 12: Zurich and Lake Cruise

Start your day with a guided tour of Zurich, Switzerland's most populous city and financial and cultural capital. Afterward, embark on a nearly two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich. The boat makes brief stops, allowing you to see the villages along the way. Disembark in Rapperswil, a picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. Return to Zurich by train, experiencing the efficiency and punctuality of Swiss railways. Note: Depending on the number of travelers, the transfers to and from the center might be carried out by public transport.

Today's journey takes you through beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Stop in Grindelwald, where you'll have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to the mountain. Walk along the winding path leading to the suspended bridge, surrounded by fantastic scenery and glaciers. Enjoy lunch on the mountain (included) before heading down. Continue to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities. Spend some time strolling around before returning to Zurich. Note: The guide will offer you the possibility of a full day optional visit, leaving in the morning and, after some free time to discover Lucerne, we take a rotating cable car to reach the top of Mount Titlis. At the alpine summit, at over 3000m above sea level, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.
