Today, we cycle from the sea up to the Furnas Caldera, a geothermal wonderland filled with bubbling hot water pools, towering steam columns, popping mud pools, and sparkling springs. Ride around the lagoon and visit the famous cooking pits where locals prepare the traditional 'Cozido das Furnas,' a dish cooked in volcanic ground.
