Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon

Welcome to Portugal! Upon your arrival at Lisbon Airport, our local representatives will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Lisbon. The rest of the day is yours to start exploring the vibrant capital city of Portugal at your own pace.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll drive through picturesque villages and ancient estates to reach Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent. We'll then visit the city of Sintra, a medieval royal residence, and admire the romantic Pena Palace from afar. After lunch in Sintra, we'll stop at the legendary Devil's Mouth cave and Guincho Beach before strolling through the fishing town of Cascais. On our way back to Lisbon, we'll visit Estoril, a spa town known for its noble residents during World War II. The evening is free for you to enjoy in Lisbon.

After breakfast, we'll embark on a half-day guided city tour of Lisbon. We'll explore the historic Alfama district, ride the colorful streetcars, and visit the Jerónimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém, and the Monument of the Discoveries. After lunch, you'll have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful coastal capital at your own pace.

After breakfast, we'll depart from Lisbon to Óbidos, a charming town known for its well-preserved castle and handicraft shops. We'll then visit Alcobaça to see the oldest monastery in the area, and Nazaré, a town famous for its fishing traditions and beach-breaking waves. After lunch, we'll head to the Monastery of Batalha, a prime example of Late Flamboyant Gothic architecture, before transferring to your hotel in Porto for a free evening.

After breakfast, you'll meet your guide for a half-day city tour of Porto. We'll start in the historic centre, visiting the Cathedral for a panoramic view of the city, the River Douro, its bridges, and cascading houses. We'll then explore the picturesque corners of the Ribeira district before heading for a wine tasting in one of Porto's wine cellars. We'll pass by the Stock Exchange building and the Rua das Flores to reach São Bento train station, and end the tour at the Four Lions fountain, facing the university. The afternoon is at your leisure to continue exploring.

We'll depart from Porto to discover the spectacular beauty of the Douro Vinhateiro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll enjoy a one-hour traditional rabelo boat tour on a breathtaking stretch of the Douro River, followed by a wine tasting and a fantastic lunch in a winery. The rest of the day is at your leisure in Porto.

After breakfast, we'll drive southward to Fatima, a town of worship for believers since the Mother of God appeared there in 1917. We'll then head to Tomar, a city steeped in history and the former residence of the Templars, to visit the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rest of the day is at your leisure to continue exploring Lisbon at your own pace.
Day 8 – Day 8: Lisbon to Ponta Delgada

After breakfast, we'll transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight to Ponta Delgada. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to start exploring São Miguel, the biggest island of the volcanic archipelago of the Azores, also known as the 'Green Island' for its diverse scenery.

After breakfast at your hotel, we'll start the day with a visit to a pineapple plantation and a tasting of its liquor. We'll then continue towards Pico do Carvão, where you can see the central part of the island and both the north and south coasts of São Miguel. We'll stop at Lagoa das Sete Cidades for a beautiful view of the blue lagoon, and then return to your hotel.
