We begin our journey heading north from Lisbon, taking in the scenic landscape of windmills and orchards. Our first stop is the medieval town of Óbidos, where you can sample the local cherry liqueur and admire the local handicrafts. We then proceed to Alcobaça, home to a magnificent church that introduced Gothic architecture to Portugal. Our next stop is the Batalha Monastery, a testament to the grandeur of Gothic architecture. We end the day in Fátima, a world-renowned sanctuary for Marian worship, where you can witness the candlelight procession. Overnight stay in Fátima.

After breakfast, we depart for Coimbra, a city renowned for its ancient university and rich musical traditions. We'll explore the city's baroque library and visit the Santa Clara Church. Next, we head to Aveiro, often referred to as the 'Venice of Portugal' due to its network of canals. Here, you can see the traditional 'moliceiros' boats and sample the local sweet delicacy 'ovos moles'. We end the day in Porto, where you'll spend the night.
