The Tour with Diogo in his R4 has been excellent. Probably the best you can get in Sintra. We had a lot of fun and got a very knowledgeable Intro to romantic Sintra. Next time again!!!

Manuel was an amazing tour guide who showed us the beauty of Sintra and shared in-depth & fascinating knowledge on everything Sintra has to offer. It’s a truly special tour where he shared about the unique history and climate of this beautiful region. Communication & arrangements were very clear & friendly, and we were able to take the journey out to Cabo de Roca (the westernmost point of continental Europe) with ease. All in all, this was a fantastic & very accommodating tour which makes for a wonderful day trip in a truly special part of the world.

The tour was amazing! We were interested in the history of Sintra and Mr. Local Tours was absolutely wonderful! He definitely knows his stuff! He took really nice pictures of us in the car, which is by the way very comfy! the places he took us were breathtaking, would recommend and would definitely do again!

Sintra is beautiful with a rich history. Diogo is kind, fun, knowledgeable and accommodating. It truly felt like a day trip with an old friend. I'm already planning for my next trip to Portugal, I'll definitely be doing another tour with him.

Diogo was an excellent guide; very knowledgeable and smart (archeologist background). Also very friendly and passionate about his country and it’s history. Had a great tour even in the rain — thankfully the fog lifted every time we were at a new place. Castles were beautiful, pastries amazing and history/charm just priceless. Hope to come back and spend more time in Sintra in the future.

I booked this tour for my first solo Birthday trip and I am so glad that I did. Diogo was friendly from the very beginning and made me feel really safe, as if I was traveling with a friend. He was super informative of everything and even doubled as an AMAZING photographer for all of my pictures. I felt like I had a true local look at the area of Sintra, which was exactly what I wanted. I booked this trip on a whim, as I only had one day to explore the magical coastline of Portugal and as a solo traveler, I wanted a guide to help maximize my time. I couldn’t believe my luck when Catia pulled up in a vintage green classic car. Bright, happy and ready to explore! We started giggling the moment we met and hit it off instantly. Off we went to explore the rich cultural history and architecture of Sinta, Colares, Santuario da Peninha, Praia da Adraga, Azenhas do Mar and the National Palace of Pena.

Catia, a scout growing up, knew every nook and cranny of the coastline and enthusiastically shared all of her knowledge including her love of nature, her favorite area of Peninha (the quiet forest I will never forget). She was unflappable — no matter what we encountered throughout the day, she handled it with charisma and professionalism. She even directed traffic to help clear a traffic jamb on a particularly windy road. She was born and raised in the area so I truly felt I got the most thorough and unique perspective of this mystical place.

Never a rush, never on a timeline. Respectful, kind, generous and professional. This tour covered it all in the most enjoyable way possible.
