Great way to see the west end of the island. The views from the top of the crater were spectacular! The guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Punta Delgada!

This was a fantastic private tour in a 4x4 pickup. Guide was local and very knowledgeable. Safe driver. Took us to the best locations for viewing and photographs. Time well spent with memories to cherish. We booked this tour instead of a cruise tour and did not regret it. Thanks Felipe!!

This tour is an amazing experience for us and words cannot describe how wonderful our tour guide Sergio is. I was hesitant at first to book a private tour as we are only here for 2 days on this island. However, I decided to book a half-day tour which turned out one of the best decisions I made along this trip to Portugal.
Sergio, according to him, was born and raised on St Miguel and I feel that he has a very deep connection with his hometown. Also, he has profound knowledge about the plants, history, industry etc about this beautiful place which is fantastic to someone like me who knew very little if not nothing about Azores before I arrived.
Although the weather was a bit disappointing with cloud and fog, thanks to Sergio’s guide we managed to see what we wanted to see, the lakes, mountains, beaches and small church and beautiful villages. A very important thing to note that he drives very smooth. If you have motion sickness, you can still enjoy the trip. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St Miguel for a very limited period of time.

We had a wonderful tour and the truck was able to take us to different locations that we otherwise would have not been able to. My parents are older and they enjoyed the comfort of the truck. My son is 8 and he had just as much fun.

We're so glad we took the half day Jeep tour with Filipe! He's a friendly and wonderful guide with a great sense of humor and deep knowledge of the island's history to match. We saw so much within a few hours, and the views were spectacular! While it's possible to rent a car or hike, we loved the chance to explore the island with a local guide (Azores born-and-raised) and to be able to visit not-so-easily accessible areas we wouldn't have known to look for. Filipe also customized the tour on the fly and tailored conversation and information to match our interests. We never felt rushed, and he was more than willing to stop for photos wherever we wished. Beyond the tour, Filipe also shared some of his favorite local recommendations, and we really enjoyed visiting Restaurante da Associação Agrícola de São Miguel as a result. We'd highly recommend this tour, especially if you're here for a short time, or if you simply want to get a grasp for the Western part of São Miguel and learn more about its history!

We had a great time, views were great. We took the half day tour in the Ford Raptor, it turned out a great comfortable choice as it has great suspension, the nice comfortable interior if it rains and the off road capability to see much more than a pavement only trip would have offered. Not to sound like a Ford commercial haha, just a nice comfortable relaxing way to see amazing views. Filipe was great, friendly, told us about the island, great driver, and in general a fun guide to spend a few hours with. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour. He was super patient, informative and took us to the best spots of Sete Cidades. A great tour and must to do if you can’t or don’t have the time to hike up and back
