They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

You will have some free time to relax and explore the surroundings. In the afternoon, check the hotel reception boards for information about the start of your tour.

Depart early for southern Portugal, crossing the scenic Tagus River bridge. Arrive in the Algarve and explore the historic city of Lagos, known for its port and charming historic center. After lunch, visit the windswept cliffs of Cape St. Vincent and photograph the historic Sagres fortress. Spend the evening in Albufeira, a stunning coastal city where you can relax on its beaches or wander through its lively historic center. Accommodation will be provided in Albufeira or a neighboring city in the Algarve.

Travel to Faro, the tranquil capital of the Algarve, for a leisurely stroll. Continue into the Alentejo region and visit Mértola, a walled town-museum with an impressive castle.
