Our journey begins in the serene coastal town of Sagres, a place steeped in history and natural beauty. After settling into our accommodation at Casa Azul (or similar), we'll gather for a welcome meeting at 7pm. If you arrive early, feel free to explore the town at your leisure, with a variety of local restaurants, bars, and the town beach within walking distance.
Day 2 – Day 2: Hiking from Bordeira to Carrapateira

We'll start our day with a scenic drive to the village of Bordeira. From there, we'll embark on a leisurely 13-kilometer hike through hilly terrain, descending to the Atlantic coast along rugged cliffs before ending our journey in the charming village of Carrapateira. After the walk, we'll have time to relax in a local café before heading back to Sagres.

Today, we'll travel to the coastal town of Burgau and start our walk along the dramatic coastline. We'll marvel at the fascinating rock formations at Ponta da Piedade, just south of Lagos, before ending our walk at the lighthouse. After soaking in the magical views, we'll return to Sagres.

After breakfast, we'll travel to the cliffs near Vila do Bispo. From there, we'll follow the 'Rota Vicentina' trail along the dramatic cliffs to Cabo Sao Vicente, Europe's most south-westerly point. After capturing some memorable photos, we'll return to Sagres, just in time to witness a stunning sunset.

Today is a free day for you to relax and explore at your own pace. You might choose to visit the historic town of Lagos, where you can take a boat tour along the rugged coastline and explore the famous caves.
Day 6 – Day 6: Hiking the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail

Today's adventure takes us along the Seven Hanging Valleys trail, known for its spectacular coastal scenery. Starting at Albandeira Beach, we'll hike along the cliffs, taking in views of natural arches, secluded beaches, and limestone stacks. We'll pass by the Alfanzina lighthouse before ending our journey in the village of Carvoeiro.
