Postojna cave, Predjama castle and Piran tour from Ljubljana

What an unforgettable day! The cave tour was something else—Postojna is huge and full of surprises. Predjama Castle, built right into a cliff, was definitely a highlight. And Piran—such a charming town with amazing views of the sea. Our guide was fantastic and made everything even better. This is one tour you don’t want to miss!

Wow, what an amazing day! Postojna Cave was absolutely incredible, the train ride inside made it even more exciting. Predjama Castle was straight out of a fairy tale! And Piran… just beautiful! Loved walking through the old streets and enjoying the sea views. Our guide was super friendly and knew so much. Honestly, best tour of our whole Europe trip!

Unforgettable Day Exploring Slovenia’s Wonders - Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle & Piran Tour-Postojna Cave amazed us with its breathtaking stalactites and unique underground train ride. Predjama Castle, built into a cliff, was like stepping back in time, with fascinating stories and stunning views. Finally, the charming coastal town of Piran offered beautiful Venetian architecture, we had an incredible sunset view all thanks to the charming and well-spoken driver and guide Nate. He was well organized, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a perfect mix of natural wonders, history, and coastal charm in Slovenia! From start to finish this tour was very special from the professionalism and kindness of our driver Nate to each beautiful destination we were brought to. The cave was a magical experience and the castle an impressive feat and insight into the medieval history of the local area. Piran was a lovely contrast to this and a beautiful part of the coast to explore. Nate was very accommodating to all the groups needs and weather demands. We were very impressed and are grateful to all the team as organisation and experience from beginning to end throughout was top notch. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Nate was very informative about the castle,caves, and Prian and provided lots of recommendations to do and see around Slovenia. Amazing guide and amazing day. Would highly recommend doing this tour.

Incredible tour to see such varied Slovenian landscapes - the trip felt like you were travelling across different countries, but yet only 1 hour between the locations.

The trip was very well organised. We had Nate as our guide and driver and he was very likeable and friendly. Our day was forecast to be rainy, particularly in the afternoon, so Nate suggested we rearrange the day so that we had Piran in the sunnier part of the day which was definitely a better option, so I’m pleased we had that flexibility with the day’s schedule.

Piran is very beautiful and after some photo stops of the peninsula we had time to explore the town at our leisure.

Predjama Castle was also spectacular with time to explore the castle as well as a free audio guide if you wish to learn more about the history.

Postojna Caves begin with a cool train ride from the entrance to the starting point in the caves. You are then led by a guide around the caves and shown various interesting formations for about 1 hour. The tour does advise layers of warmer clothing are required for the caves, which I definitely recommend as the temperature drops significantly there.

Overall, amazing trip and Nate was a brilliant guide.

This was a great trip. Nate was an exceptional guide who knows the essence of good customer service. Slovenian Wander is a really good agency to book trips with. They communicate promptly and were flexible in the order of the trip to the Piran. Predjama is well worth a visit. The castle is in the Guinness book of records and location for films and the tv series the Witcher. Then onto Postonja caves. Plenty of stalagmites and stalactites. But the highlight is the train ride through the caves. Then onto Piran- a jewel on the Adriatic. We stopped at the fort for great views. Then down to the town below. An old Venetian port with a maze of streets and a variety of seafront restaurants. I can recommend Riva restaurant for seafood. All in all, a fantastic trip with a helpful guide and a reliable tour agency.

The caves were an experience that seemed like walking into another world. I’ve never seen anything like it and was amazed by the sheer majesty of nature. The castle in the cave was spectacular and we were charmed by the beauty of Piran. Our guide was informative, enthusiastic and very helpful

Another amazing trip! Piran, Postojna Cave, and Predjama Castle are all exceptional and truly unique. The organization was superb, with a fantastic guide and perfect time management, allowing us to see so much in just one day.
