My wife and I had a history walking tour of Madrid city centre. There were 4 of us on the tour which was given in English throughout. Our tour guide "JP" was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. The tour visited many historic sites within easy-walking distance and at a comfortable pace. At each site we were given interesting information that was clear to understand. We were on the tour for a good two and a half hours. There was no pressure to make any payment but we were all happy to do so.

Idan was a great guide, spoke really passionately about the city and the history and was knowledgeable, and funny! Expect to leave a decent tip - 20 Euros, but well worth it.
