Private Walking Tour of Southampton

A fantastic experience and an absolute must for anyone visiting Southampton who is interested in history and how the area has changed over time. Highly recommended. Our guide Michelle was friendly, accommodating and offered lots of interesting insights into the local area. PAcked full of stories, anecdotes, and tales of the past, which really brought the city to light. Some helpful recommendations as well for places to visit, eat, and drink whilst staying in Southampton. One of the best guided tours we have ever had.

Very informative experience with the opportunity to learn quite a lot about the city, its port, vaults, Mayflower, Titanic and wars. Can 100% recommend!

Michelle, was very knowledgeable and presented the history and many stories of Southampton over the centuries in a very friendly manner. She was patient with my many questions and pointed out a historic pub to enjoy a pint of local beer to enjoy after the walking tour.

Our guide was excellent and caring. When it began to rain we went into a nearby cafe and she gave us remaining details. When the rain ended, she took us to where the tour was supposed to end she gave us an idea what to do.

My wife and I had the pleasure of touring Southampton with Michelle on 8/12/24. Michelle was an awesome guide full of energy and interesting historical information about the city. From the ancient gate to the Mayflower departure site and lots of Titanic history. She was great. We would definitely recommend her as a tour guide.

Our guide Michelle arrived early to meet us. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Michelle really knew her historical information giving us the history in depth of Southampton. It was so impressive how she could quote all the dates and events. She spoke loudly and distinctly and was easy to understand. She also gave us a few opportunities to sit down while she spoke to us which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this tour!
