This family owned business made the whole proccess ridiculously simple and easy. A boat licence is not required and there is exceptional instruction and training provided in english during the induction. We were also given a map and several restaurant recommendations of different places to stop.
The boats are very well maintained and clean and even have a cooler box provided onboard.
Overall, this was hands down one of the best days I had in Italy and 100% recommend.
This activity is great for couples, families, friends and anyone ready to experience the beautiful coastline of Amalfi the local way.

The team from Angel Boat Rental (Angela, Giovanni and Andrea) are fantastic. Family-run business and genuinely helpful. My partner and I rented the boat (which didn’t require a license).
We had originally booked for a Monday rental, but on the day itself, Angela and team recommended that we moved our booking to the next day due to the poor weather forecasted for the afternoon. They prioritised our safety and wanted to make sure we had a positive experience. It did rain later that afternoon.
On the following day, the Angel team gave us clear instructions on how to operate the boat, tips on places to stop at, eat etc. they also helped to ring the Locabello at Positano as we wanted to dock and visit the town.
They offered the best price for boat rentals, and we would do it again. Best way to explore Amalfi without the stress of the crowds on buses and ferries.

P.S. bring cash for the petrol (approx 80Euro for half tank) and the locabello if you’re docking in towns.

We planned to hire a boat without a skipper couple of days ago and found Angel Boat Rental at Molo Manfredi port. Angela and her father are running this service and they are super sweet. The booking on a day’s notice was quite swift and Angela made the experience very smooth by coordinating and staying in contact. She briefed us well on operating the boat and all necessary procedures.
The boat itself was very clean and everything worked perfectly. Angela also recommended a restaurant for having lunch at our request and she even arranged for mooring the boat in the sea and boat taxi pickup. Wonderful service for a perfect day out boating.

Unforgettable experience. Me and my partner didn’t know what to expect as we had never driven a boat before. They gave us clear instructions on how to find them, and once we were there they gave us a complete rundown on how to drive the boat and it was super easy! They gave us information on where to go along our journey and what numbers to call for assistance along the way if we wanted to dock and recommendations for beautiful restaurants. We were so happy with the experience, and was able to go at our own pace which we would not have been able to do if we had hired a boat tour. We drove to Positano with stops along the way and used only half a tank of fuel which cost 80 euros to refill when we got back to the dock. A brilliant family owned local business!

We booked a boat for the day to see the Amalfi coast. We travelled from Salerno to Positano and back. The boat was well kept and we were shown the essentials before setting off. Seems like a family run business and were very pleasant. Only reason not a 5 star review was that it was a bit tricky to find them. The Angel Boat unit is at one end and the boats and staff were at the other end. Thank you for a great experience.
