Alessia was a great host and it is a fun thing to do.
Make sure you're hungry and do it for lunch or dinner.

We had such a wonderful time! Manuela was so much fun and she taught us a lot of great tips to make our own pizza crust at home. Everyone at the restaurant was so welcoming and kind. It was certainly one of our favorite activities of our trip.

Manuela was an incredible teacher! She was very patient, and you could tell that she was an absolute expert. Also, the chef cooking the pizza was extremely skilled. I would absolutely love to take this class again, and I would hope to have Manuela as a teacher again. I don’t know how much she gets paid, but she definitely needs a raise regardless. :)

Such a great experience! My husband and I were lucky enough to have a private session! Anna was amazing! She was very passionate and provided great guidance for the rules of pizza making and what to look for when making your pizza dough! I would definitely recommend this experience!

Lots of fun and very informative. The teacher, Ana, made everything simple to follow and it turned out great. Pizza was delicious and Ana was molto brava…not to mention molto carina!! :)

My husband makes pizza from scratch at home, so we came into this class with some experience. We still learned a lot, had a great time, and ate some excellent pizza.
Our chef, Lino, did an excellent job of not just explaining the techniques but also how to make adjustments in crafting the dough, stretch and form the dough, and even let my husband cook a pizza in their brick oven!
The class started off with a hands-on session of mixing and kneading the dough. Throughout, Lino explained how to make adjustments to the dough based on how it felt (stickiness, texture, appearance).
Next, we moved to using already proofed dough to make our own pizzas. Lino and Salvatore (their other pizza chef) walked us through the proper techiques for forming and stretching the dough. There were some subtleties that my husband learned to help improve his technique.
Finally, we sauced and topped the dough with Savatore doing the honors of launching and baking the pizza, a classic Margherita. The final product was *amazing*! Best pizza we had in our two weeks in Italy, especially with the included house red and (very excellent) bruschetta to start.
After, the owner of the restaraunt had Salvatore coach my husband on how to launch, rotate, and bake a pizza in their brick oven. Quite the experince compared to our Ooni.
We had a blast in this class and it was one of the highlights of our two week trip across Italy. Highly recommend!

We learned how to make Neapolitan dough, how to stretch it into a pizza, and how to dress it for the oven. Lots of info for home pizza makers. Included water, wine, bruschetta and the finished pizza. Lino was an excellent instructor.
