Half Day Tour to Pompeii from Ravello

Pick up later than planned 9:20 instead of 8am but meant kids had a lie in so good. Michelo our driver was nice. Lovely air conditioned car. Maya (may have misspelt name-sorry!) our guide was great and very informative. It was very hot though being August so hour or so long tour just enough and you get to see the main sites except Amphitheater.

Our guide Robin ( Roberta) had great English & was very knowledgeable. She answered all our questions & was obviously passionate about Pompeii. Highly recommended.

Our driver and his partner (I think their names were Michelo and Irene) were very punctual and courteous. Gave us some good recommendations and information about the area. Our tour guide at Pompeii was very knowledgeable and gave us a fact filled overview of the site in just 2 hours which was what we were looking for.

The staff are very courteous and were very clear on pick up location. The car ride to Pompeii was also very comfortable and smooth.

I really enjoyed tPhis tour, which was well organised. I received a message on WhatsApp the day before to inform us of pick up times. Although it was advertised as 8am, it ended up being 0845, which was fine for us for a more relaxed morning.

We were picked up at the specified time, and the driver/guide were very friendly. The driver was chatty and talked a bit about the area as well as stopping on the drive to Pompeii to allow us some photos of the view. For this trip it turned out to only be myself and my partner, so a bit of a private trip.

At Pompeii we were given some bottles of water, and led to meet another guide for Pompeii itself. Who was incredibly friendly, and very knowledgable about the ruins. As we only had two hours there the tour is fast paced in order to fit in as much as possible. The guide also had to make some ad-hoc changes to the tour due to some filming in the city which prevented entry to some areas ( was not known prior and could not have been avoided ). She made the best out of the situation however.

After the tour we were met again by the van to be transported back to our hotel.

The only regret of the trip was that it was a very short time in Pompeii, being as the ancient city offers so much to see. It would have been great to see more. However for us this was perfect as we wanted to do other things in the afternoon, and the transfer was 1 hour each way.

Having more time I would have loved to have had more time in Pompeii.

Great tour guide! The tour didn’t show the colosseum or amphitheater of Pompeii, just be aware it’s only the city center.

We had a really good trip to Pompei. The guys were very friendly, and made our trip really enjoyable - stopping en route for a great photo of the bay, Naples and Mt V. Making arrangements and confirming in advance was really easy.

Great tour even in the heat! Aiana did a great job ! I would definitely use her in the future. She is a very caring person.

Our driver Aiana, did a wonderful job of picking us up and bringing us back to our hotel! They were very nice and accommodating.
