We had just completed another wonderful tour (The Colosseum) with Through Eternity so knew this would be a great experience! We weren't disappointed! We were SO fortunate to (a) be the only couple in our tour so it was a much more intimate and informative day plus (b) we were guided by the incomparable Guia Grandi! Guia's expertise exceeded our expectations and when you consider my wife & I had ample opportunity to ask all sorts of arcane questions, Guia never disappointed. I highly recommend both Through Eternity (They were 2 for 2 that week!!!) and Guia if you can book with her. She made our too-short visit to Rome special.

Outstanding tour. Skipped the lines. Saw and learned more than I could have on my own. I have lots of research to do after having this tour.
The tour is grueling, requiring many stairs and lots of standing. Not for those with bad knees.

Great and friendly tour led by Francesco. The line skipping and guidance around the grounds was totally key. We did miss a few high points which were cut in order to keep to e hours namely the Rafael paintings) but saw so many other awe inspiring sites.

Federico was a wonderful guide. Even our teenagers were interested in the Vatican tour. He did a great job explaining the different styles (Renaissance vs. Baroque) and keeping us entertained with tidbits about Michelangelo. I couldn't always hear everything (the microphones could be better) - but our guide was happy to repeat.

Thomas, our guide, was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain what we were seeing and its historical significance. We had plenty of time for photos and the three hours went by so fast, as Thomas said it would. Highly recommend taking this tour.
