We enjoyed our tour of this picturesque little town. It is the full medieval experience! Our guide Ivo was knowledgeable and had lots of interesting stories about the history of Obidos and greater Portugal as well. This town is all hills and the stone streets can be slippery when wet. Wear your good hiking shoes!

Maria took us on an in depth tour of this very interesting town. We enjoyed our tour thoroughly. Before the tour, we had a chance to walk almost all the way around the town on the medieval walls. We’d highly recommend doing that as well.

The tour was very interesting and fun we saw the city colourful streets, cool castle and also the city wall.
Our guide JP was amazing, he was very knowledgable and funny. He gave us a historical overview on the city and took the time to answer all of our questions.

Our guide Ivo was very knowledgeable, definitely strived to give us maximum information about the history of Obidos/portugal. Friendly professional, outstanding job.
The tour elevated Obidos from a overly touristy location to a true place in portugals history
He took us to some places we would never otherwise see or fully appreciate.
I deconsecrated church converted into a bookstore, a bookstore that also sells some produce , both reflecting Obidos as a literary city.
