We start our journey from Bucharest, heading towards Bulgaria. Our first stop is Veliko Tarnovo, the 'City of Tsars' and the former capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Here, we explore the Tsarevets Fortress and other historical sites. We then visit the picturesque Devetashka cave and the stunning Krushuna Falls, the biggest travertine cascade in Bulgaria. We end our day in Lovech, where we stay overnight in a 3-star hotel.

After breakfast, we head to Mostar where we visit the old town and the iconic Old Bridge. We then take a scenic road passing by the Jablanica lake and via the Neretva river canyon to Sarajevo. Our walking tour of Sarajevo covers the stories of origins of Sarajevo and the medieval Bosnian Kingdom. We visit the Latin Bridge and learn the story about how WWI was triggered right here, in the heart of Sarajevo. We spend the night in a 3-star hotel in Sarajevo.

In the morning, we visit the most fascinating gothic castle in Eastern Europe, the famous Corvin Castle. We then go to Alba Iulia, an important city from a historical point of view, because the Great United Romania was made here on December 1st, 1918. In the evening, we arrive in Sibiu, the European Capital of Culture in 2007. We explore the city's main attractions, including the Council Tower and the Brukenthal museum. After breakfast, we head towards Bucovina, stopping at Borgo Pass, the mysterious place where the vampire legend Dracula comes to life. We then visit the Voronet Monastery, Moldovita Monastery, and Sucevita Monastery, all of which are UNESCO monuments.
