Next, you'll explore Bucharest's Old Town, where you'll visit Curtea Veche, the first royal court of the city. Today, we journey to the historical city of Targoviste, the former capital of Wallachia. Here, you'll explore the remnants of the royal court, including the iconic Chindia Tower. After lunch, we'll venture to the Poenari Fortress, a majestic mountaintop stronghold restored by Vlad Tepes himself. Please note that the fortress is currently closed for renovation and will reopen in 2024. Today, we traverse the breathtaking Carpathian Mountains on the Transfagarasan Highway, before arriving in the medieval city of Sibiu. Here, you'll visit the Astra Museum, home to a vast collection of Romanian monuments. Afterward, embark on a walking tour of Sibiu, visiting landmarks such as the Brukenthal Museum and the 'Holy Trinity' Roman Catholic Cathedral. You'll have the rest of the day to explore the city at your own pace. Dine at your own expense in the evening and spend the rest of the night as you please. Overnight in Sibiu.

On day four, we journey to the renowned Corvin Castle, where Vlad the Impaler was once imprisoned. Next, we venture into the Orastie Mountains to discover the ancient Dacian fortress, Sarmizegetusa Regia. After lunch, we continue to the village of Densus, where we visit the Densus Church, one of the oldest churches in Romania. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your leisure and spend the night in Deva.

Today, we visit the city of Alba Iulia, home to the impressive Alba Carolina Citadel. Next, we head to the town of Turda to explore the renowned Turda Salt Mine, a unique underground attraction. After a day of exploration, you'll have the evening to choose a dining venue of your preference in Cluj Napoca, where you'll spend the night.

Today, we visit the iconic Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle. Next, we explore the Rasnov Fortress, a stronghold dating back to 1335. Our final destination for the day is the captivating city of Brasov, where you'll embark on a guided tour of the city, visiting landmarks like the Black Church and the Council Square. Overnight in Brasov.

On the final day of our journey, we visit Snagov Monastery, believed to be the resting place of Vlad the Impaler. After exploring the monastery, we'll transfer you back to Bucharest or to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through Romania.
