GRANDE EXPLORING BALKAN TOUR

Today, we leave Bucharest and head to the 17th-century Sinaia Monastery and the stunning Peles Castle. We then continue to Bran, where we'll visit the infamous Bran Castle, known as Dracula's Castle. Our day ends in the charming city of Brasov, where we'll spend the night.

Today, we continue our journey to Hunedoara, where we'll visit the magnificent Corvinesti Castle, one of the largest in Europe. From there, we head to Turnu Severin, where we'll take a brief orientation tour before checking into our hotel for the night.

We leave Turnu Severin and drive towards Djerdap, where we'll enjoy a cruise through the stunning gorge, one of the most beautiful sections of the Danube river. We'll also visit the Golubac Fortress, a fortified town located on a hill slope overlooking the Danube River. Our day ends in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

Today, we embark on a full-day excursion from Belgrade. Our first stop is the Krusedol Monastery, one of Serbia's most significant monasteries. We then continue to Sremski Karlovci, a picturesque town known for its baroque and neoclassical houses. After a wine tasting session at a local winery, we'll visit the intriguing Petrovaradin Fortress. Our last stop is Novi Sad, where we'll have a quick tour and some free time before returning to Belgrade.

Our morning sightseeing tour of Belgrade includes a visit to the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress, Saint Sava Temple, and Tito's Memorial. We then continue to Avala for some relaxation. The rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own or join an optional excursion to Topola, a historical town known for its connection to the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire.

Today, we'll explore Bled, an Alpine town known for its stunning lake. Our sightseeing tour will take us around the charming town and the lakeshore, and we'll visit the imposing Bled Castle. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You might want to join an optional excursion to the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops, or simply relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery.

Our journey continues to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. We'll tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, we'll stop in Opatija, a fashionable 19th-century resort, for a walking tour and some free time. We then continue towards Plitvice Lakes for the night.

In the morning, we'll enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic inner city of Split, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. We'll see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Our journey takes us to Montenegro today. We'll enjoy the stunning views of Kotor Bay, the only South European fiord, and tour the old town of Kotor, a UNESCO heritage Site. We then continue to Tivat for the night.

After breakfast, we leave Tivat and drive towards the town of Shkodra, a major Albanian cultural center. We'll visit the Rozafa Castle, situated on a rocky outcrop of limestone high above the city. We then continue our drive to Tirana, the capital of Albania.

Today, we drive to the lakeside resort of Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our sightseeing tour will take us through the cobblestone streets of the old town, and we'll visit the Cathedral of St. Sofia, which contains some magnificent frescoes from the 10th century.
