Local guides are not used for sightseeing tours, local tours will be provided by the permanent guide.

Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Bucharest

Welcome to Bucharest, the vibrant capital of Romania. Upon arrival, you'll transfer to your 4* hotel (or similar) under your own arrangement. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the city at your leisure. Dinner will also be under your own arrangement.

After breakfast, we'll depart for the UNESCO-listed city of Sighisoara, known as 'the pearl of Transylvania'. Enjoy a walking tour of the medieval fortress, including the Clock Tower and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula). After lunch, we'll continue to Targu Mures, 'The City of Roses'. Dinner will be under your own arrangement, followed by an overnight stay at a 4* hotel (or similar) in Targu Mures.

Today, we'll explore the highlights of Targu Mures before heading to Turda. Here, you can opt for a visit to the impressive Turda Salt Mine, a historical monument with a rich history dating back to the Roman Empire. We'll then proceed to Cluj Napoca, one of Transylvania's most beautiful cities. After a walking tour of the city, we'll return to Targu Mures for dinner (under your own arrangement) and an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, we'll journey to Brasov, stopping en route to visit the UNESCO-listed fortress churches in Darjiu and Prejmer. Upon arrival in Brasov, enjoy free time for lunch before exploring the old city centre, a gateway to the southern part of Transylvania. Dinner will be under your own arrangement, followed by an overnight stay at a 4* hotel (or similar) in Brasov.

Today, we'll visit the famous Bran Castle, often associated with the Dracula legend, followed by a trip to Sinaia, the 'Pearl of the Carpathians'.
