We start our journey from Bucharest at 9 am, heading towards the picturesque town of Sinaia. Here, we explore the royal Peles Castle, the summer residence of the former Romanian royal family. Our next stop is the Bran village, where we unravel the mysteries of the infamous Bran Castle, also known as Dracula Castle. We then traverse the breathtaking Prahova Valley to reach the town of Rasnov. Here, we marvel at the well-preserved Rasnov Fortress and enjoy a panoramic view of Barsa Land. Our day ends in the city of Brasov, where we spend the night at Casa Timar Pension (or similar), with breakfast included.

Our second day begins with a visit to the authentic Transylvanian village of Viscri, where we explore the oldest fortified church in Transylvania, a UNESCO world heritage site. We then head to the medieval town of Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. Here, we take a walking tour of the Sighisoara Citadel, admiring its pastel-coloured buildings, stony lanes, and medieval towers. We also visit The Clock Tower, The Church on the Hill, and the house where Vlad the Impaler was born. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

On day three, we visit the Biertan Fortified Church, a UNESCO world heritage site. We then explore the heart of Germanic Transylvania, Sibiu, known for its fascinating network of squares, staircases, and towers dating between the 13th and 18th centuries. We visit the Big Square, the Little Square, and the Huet square, among others. Our next stop is Medias, where we spend about an hour exploring the old town and The Evangelic Cathedral. We end the day in the village of Sibiel, where we spend the night at Ramona House (or similar), a homestay style pension.

Day four takes us to the haunting Hunyadi Castle, one of the seven wonders of Romania and considered the most haunted castle in Europe. We then visit the grand Alba Iulia Citadel, one of Transylvania's most overlooked sights. The walls of this magnificently preserved citadel enclose grand monuments, museums, and archaeological treasures.
