Your Romanian adventure begins with a warm welcome at Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport. From there, we'll whisk you away to the charming town of Sinaia, home to the stunning Peles Castle. Marvel at the castle's architectural grandeur and delve into the history of the Romanian royal family. Next, we'll head to the city of Brasov, where a walking tour of the old town awaits. After a day of exploration, unwind in your comfortable en-suite double room, with breakfast included for the following morning.

After breakfast, we'll set off for a day of exploration and adventure. Our first stop is The Bears Sanctuary, the world's largest sanctuary of its kind, home to around 100 rescued bears. Next, we'll visit Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle, a remarkable architectural monument steeped in history and mystery. After a traditional lunch in Bran village, we'll head to Rasnov Fortress, Transylvania's largest and best-preserved fortress, offering stunning panoramic views. We'll then return to Brasov for a restful night's sleep.

Day three begins with a visit to the medieval Fagaras Fortress, surrounded by a picturesque moat fringed with willow trees. We'll also explore the Valer Literat Museum, showcasing a fascinating collection of Saxon furnishings and glassware. Next, we'll journey to Sibiu, the heart of Germanic Transylvania, where we'll explore the city's historic squares, staircases, and towers. We'll then transfer to the quaint village of Sibiel, where you'll enjoy a delicious three-course dinner, homemade wine, and traditional plum brandy. Overnight stay will be in a charming three-Margarets home-stay style pension.

Next, we'll explore Alba Iulia's star-shaped citadel, the largest in Romania, home to grand monuments, glittering churches, and archaeological treasures. We'll then return to Sibiel for a restful night at Ramona Pension (or similar), where you'll enjoy a three-course dinner, wine, Romanian plums brandy, and breakfast the following morning.

Day five takes us to the enchanting region of Bucovina, known for its painted monasteries. We'll then continue to the town of Gura Humorului, where you'll spend the night at Steluta de Munte Pension (or similar), enjoying a three-course dinner and breakfast the following morning.

Day seven takes us to the Nicole Popa Ethnographic museum in Tarpesti, where you'll get a glimpse of the 'village world' - a rich tapestry of ethnography, folklore, history, and traditional masks. We'll then journey through the breathtaking Bicaz Gorges and visit the Red Lake, a natural dam lake and one of Romania's most stunning natural attractions. Our day ends in the medieval city of Sighisoara, where you'll spend the night at Citadela Hotel (or similar), with breakfast included for the following morning.

After lunch at Dracula House Restaurant, we'll head to Prejmer to explore the fortified church, one of Eastern Europe's best-preserved fortifications.
