Upon your arrival in Iasi, the 'Cultural Capital of Romania', you'll be transferred to your hotel. Your exploration begins with a visit to the city's most impressive building, The Palace of Culture. Admire its flamboyant Neo-Gothic style and the beautiful Palas Garden. Enjoy a walk along the main historical street of Iasi, Stefan the Great, dedicated to one of Romania's most iconic historical figures. The day ends with a transfer back to your hotel, where you can relax and prepare for the upcoming adventures.

Today, we journey to the region of the UNESCO Painted Monasteries, some of Romania's best-known historical sites. Visit the Voronet Monastery, known as the 'Sistine Chapel of the East', and the Moldovita and Sucevita Monasteries, renowned for their preserved frescoes. After a day of historical exploration, you'll be transferred to your boutique hotel in the nearby town of Gura Humorului.

Leave the region of the Painted Monasteries and head to the historic Neamt Citadel, once one of the mightiest fortifications of the Moldavian medieval state. Visit the Agapia Monastery, home to one of the biggest nun communities in Romania, and the Popa Museum, a unique exhibition and creative space. End the day with a visit to the Sturdza Castle, one of the few Neo-gothic monuments in the region, before returning to Iasi.

Cross the border into the Republic of Moldova. Visit the Cricova Winery, an underground city renowned for its wine production. Learn about wine tasting and sample a selection of Moldovan wines. Later, explore Chisinau, the capital city known as the 'City of White Stone'. Visit the city's iconic sites, including the Parliament, the Presidential House, and the City Hall. Spend the night in Chisinau, soaking in the city's vibrant atmosphere.
