We stay in self catering cottages in the scenic hills above Linlithgow. Wake up each morning and have your coffee on the deck looking out at the green fields full of sheep, cows and even a few ducks!
Each cottage has single, double and twin rooms available.
The group enjoys family style breakfasts and two evening meals at the cottages. Guests love the "Home from Home" feeling you have on this tour - its a real highlight.
Every cottage has its own hot tub so don't forget your swimsuit.
A driver and guide will be with you for the 5 days. Guides also stay in the cottages over night.

We commence our journey from the Apex Grassmarket Hotel (or similar) in Edinburgh at 9 am. The day is filled with exciting visits to the Royal Mile, Midhope Castle, Blackness Castle, and Linlithgow Palace. We'll also enjoy a delightful lunch at the Lobster Pot pub in Blackness. The day concludes at our cozy accommodation in Williamscraig.

We leave the cottages at 8:30 am and head north. The day's highlights include visits to The Highland Folk Museum, Clava Cairns, and Culloden. We'll also have a chance to grab packed lunches and enjoy an evening meal in the historic village of Dunkeld.

Our journey today takes us to the 14th Century Doune Castle, the stunning Drummond Castle Gardens, and the Glenturret Distillery for a whisky tasting. We'll also visit Tibbermore Church, a significant location from Season 1 of Outlander. The day concludes with a delightful Scottish Dinner Show at The Torphichen Inn.

We set off at 9 am to explore the Kingdom of Fife, starting with the harbour town of Dysart. We then visit the village of Falkland, the filming location for Inverness in the TV series. Our journey continues to Culross, a perfectly preserved 17th-century town, and Hopetoun House, a grand stately home. The day concludes with a dinner at an award-winning Fish and Chips restaurant.

Our final day begins with a visit to the romantic Glencorse Old Kirk, followed by a tour of Craigmillar Castle. After lunch in the peaceful village of Roslin, we visit the stunning Rosslyn Chapel, a significant location in Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. We then return to the Apex Grassmarket Hotel (or similar) in Edinburgh, concluding our 5-day adventure.
