Our adventure begins in Inverness, where we set off on Scotland's renowned North Coast 500. This scenic route offers breathtaking views of majestic mountains, shimmering lochs, and stunning beaches. We make a stop at the picturesque village of Applecross, soaking in its natural beauty before arriving in the charming port town of Ullapool by late afternoon. Accommodation: The Arch Inn, Foinaven, Ullaviews or similar.
Day 2 – Day 2: Ullapool - Thurso

Our journey continues north, revealing increasingly rugged and mountainous landscapes. Depending on the weather and our guide's expertise, we may explore the depths of Smoo Cave, the ruins of Ardvreck Castle, or admire pristine white beaches. After a delightful lunch in a Highland village, we proceed to Thurso, the northernmost town on the British mainland, where we spend the evening. Accommodation: Pentland Lodge B&B, B&B No.4 or similar.

Today, we explore charming fishing villages, impressive cliffs, and ancient Neolithic sites. We visit the northernmost point of mainland Great Britain, with a chance to glimpse the Orkney Isles. Next, we explore Girnigeo Castle, perched on a windswept cliff, and hear its chilling tales. Continuing south, we pass through lush valleys and enjoy sea views en route to Dunrobin Castle for a photo stop. We return to Inverness by early evening. Accommodation: N/A.
