They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Leave Edinburgh behind and head north. Stop to photograph The Kelpies, the magnificent horse-head sculptures, before continuing to Stirling. Explore its historic center and the impressive Stirling Castle, a site of numerous historical events. Next, visit Pitlochry, a picturesque town known for its whiskey production. Here, you'll visit another traditional whiskey distillery. After lunch, stop at Culloden, a significant battlefield in Scottish history. End the day in Inverness, the 'Capital of the Highlands', where you can enjoy a walk along the River Ness.

Today is filled with excitement as you explore the breathtaking landscapes of northern Scotland. Visit the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most photographed fortresses in the country. Next, head to Fort Augustus to see the sluice gate system. After lunch, embark on a boat tour on the mysterious waters of Loch Ness and visit the medieval Urquhart Castle. Spend the night in Inverness.
