Day 1 – Day 1: Edinburgh to St Andrews

Your Scottish adventure begins with a pick-up from Edinburgh Airport. As we drive into the Kingdom of Fife, we'll marvel at the engineering marvel of the Queensferry Crossing and the three Forth bridges. On a sunny day, we'll stop for a photo opportunity. We'll then journey through quaint coastal towns before reaching the historic city of St Andrews. An optional afternoon coastal walk is available for those who wish to stretch their legs. Meals for the day include breakfast, a picnic lunch, and dinner.

Day two takes us to the heart of Scotland, to the historic Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish Kings. Immerse yourself in Scotland's rich heritage as you explore the State Rooms, Grounds, and Parklands. In the afternoon, we'll embark on a distillery tour, where you'll learn why Scotland's plentiful rain makes for some of the world's finest whisky. Breakfast, a picnic lunch, and dinner are included.
Day 3 – Day 3: Scone to Killiecrankie

On day three, we'll take a scenic walk through native woodland from Loch Faskally to Killiecrankie, where we'll learn about the Jacobite rebellion. After a picnic lunch, we'll visit Blair Castle, home to the Athol family for over seven centuries. Explore the castle's diverse history, fine 18th-century interiors, and Scottish baronial architecture. We'll also have the chance to walk in the splendid grounds of Hercules' Garden and Diana's Grove. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Day four takes us to the world-famous Loch Ness. As we cruise the mysterious waters, keep an eye out for the legendary Loch Ness Monster. We'll also visit the ruins of the historic Urquhart Castle on the shores of the lake. In the afternoon, we'll continue our scenic drive to the Isle of Skye, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Highlands, mysterious castles, and mighty waterfalls. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day five is all about exploring the Isle of Skye. We'll head north to see one of Scotland's most iconic images, The Old Man of Storr. After a picnic lunch or pub meal, we'll head slightly further north to Brothers Point and see the Kilt Rock and Mealt waterfalls, where water cascades off the cliffs into the sea below. Breakfast, a picnic lunch, and dinner are included.
Day 6 – Day 6: Isle of Skye to Fort William

On day six, we'll leave the Isle of Skye and head to the Western Highlands. We'll stop to see the gardens of Armadale Castle before our ferry crossing. We'll then travel along the west coast to Glenfinnan, where Bonnie Prince Charlie landed in 1745. We'll also see the high, 21-arch viaduct that the Harry Potter steam train runs over. Our day ends in Fort William, at the foot of Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day seven takes us through the beautiful, volcanic, and glacial Highland scenery in the valley of Glen Coe, one of the most unforgettable places in Scotland. We'll then arrive at the edge of sparkling Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Scotland. We'll end this wonderful and scenic day with a walk up Conic Hill at sunset for an excellent vantage point. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day nine takes us back to Edinburgh, where we'll embark on a guided walking tour of the city's heart and the Royal Mile. After the tour, you'll have tickets and audio guides to visit Edinburgh Castle at your own pace. The rest of the day is yours to explore Edinburgh's charming medieval alleys and do some shopping. We recommend visiting St Giles Cathedral and the National History Museum of Scotland. Breakfast is included.
