Today, we head north towards Fort William, driving past the largest Loch of Scotland, Loch Lomond. As we leave Loch Lomond behind, the landscape transforms into windy roads and steep mountains, leading us to the breathtaking Glencoe Valley. Make sure to take advantage of the different parking facilities along the road to capture the stunning views. We will spend the next two nights in the Fort William area.

Fort William is a paradise for adventurers and hikers. Today, you can either explore the area and go for a hike or venture west towards Mallaig. We will almost drive parallel to the Jacobite Steam Train, stopping at Glenfinnan, where you can visit an interesting visitor centre, the Glenfinnan Viaduct, and the Glenfinnan Monument. We then continue to Mallaig, a small village surrounded by lovely white sandy beaches, before returning to Fort William.

Today, we embark on a hunt for the mystical monster of Loch Ness, Nessie. We pass the quaint town of Fort Augustus and continue towards Inverness. Stop at the Clansman Hotel for a traditional Cream Tea with a unique view over Loch Ness, followed by a relaxing cruise. You will have the chance to experience Loch Ness from a different angle and even see the famous Urquhart Castle. If you're lucky, Nessie might even make an appearance. We also visit the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, where we recommend a relaxing walk along the river Ness. We will spend the next two nights in the Inverness area.
