We depart from Edinburgh in the morning, heading west to our first stop, the magnificent Kelpies, the world's largest equine sculptures. Our journey continues north through the Trossachs and across the wild expanse of Rannoch Moor to the breathtaking Glen Coe. After a lunch stop in the Highland town of Fort William, we traverse the mountains to the enchanting Isle of Skye, passing the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. We'll spend the night at the cozy Skye Inn in Portree (or similar).

We start the day early to make the most of the winter daylight, exploring the magical Isle of Skye. Highlights include the jagged Cuillin Mountains, the mysterious Old Man of Storr, and Kilt Rock with its cascading waterfall. We'll hear tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie's escape from the mainland while taking in the island's rugged winter beauty. We return to The Skye Inn (or similar) in the early evening, where you can relax by the fire before dinner.

We leave the Isle of Skye, crossing the Skye Bridge and journeying through the majestic Glen Shiel to the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre in the heart of the Highlands. After learning about the restoration of Scotland's ancient woodlands, we head to the shores of Loch Ness, stopping in the charming village of Fort Augustus. After lunch, we travel through the serene winter landscapes of the Great Glen to the quaint village of Dunkeld. Enjoy a stroll by the River Tay before we conclude our tour, crossing the River Forth and marveling at the engineering marvels of the Forth Bridges.
