Our first stop is the Golubac fortress, a fairy-tale castle perched at the head of Đerdap Gorge. Next, we'll visit Lepenski Vir, an ancient settlement that marks the beginning of Europe's civilization. After exploring the museum, we'll enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant with a fantastic view of the Danube (not included). We'll return to Belgrade in the evening for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Belgrade. We'll start at the Belgrade Fortress, a historic site perched above the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Next, we'll take a panoramic ride through New Belgrade, known for its impressive modern architecture. We'll then visit Zemun, a charming area with a Central European vibe, before heading to Dedinje, Belgrade's most luxurious residential area. Our tour concludes with a visit to the Saint Sava Temple, one of the world's largest Orthodox churches. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your leisure, perhaps visiting the Nikola Tesla Museum or the National Museum. In the evening, consider visiting the Old Bohemian Quarter of Skadarlija for a taste of traditional Serbian cuisine and vibrant nightlife (optional). Overnight stay will be in Belgrade.

Next, we'll visit the Petrovaradin Fortress, a strategic point in the wars between the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman Empires. We'll then continue to Novi Sad, often referred to as the 'Serbian Athens'. After a sightseeing tour, we'll enjoy a traditional Serbian lunch in a local restaurant (not included). Spend the afternoon exploring Novi Sad at your own pace before we return to Belgrade for an overnight stay.
