Your Serbian adventure begins as your guide welcomes you at the airport. We head straight to the serene Vojvodina region, home to the solitary mountain of Fruška Gora. Here, we explore the 16th-century Monastery Krušedol before moving on to the charming town of Sremski Karlovci. Our next stop is the impressive Petrovaradin Fortress, a testament to the region's rich history. A gastronomic delight awaits us in a quaint wine cellar, where the winemaker doubles as a cook, serving homemade food paired with exquisite wines. A brief 15-minute journey takes us to our accommodation for the night, Hotel Centar**** (or similar) in Novi Sad. The rest of the day is yours to explore this vibrant city at your leisure.

Day two takes us to the town of Topola, the cradle of modern Serbia. We visit the Royal Mausoleum atop Oplenac hill, the final resting place of 27 members of the royal family. The day is dedicated to the wines of Šumadija, with visits to the King's Winery, the renowned Aleksandrović Winery, and a young family-owned winery. Enjoy a delightful lunch paired with wines at the family-owned winery. The day concludes at the House of Čolović, where you'll experience the authentic Serbian village life.

Day three begins with a hearty homemade breakfast before we set off for West Serbia and the iconic Zlatibor Mountain. Our first stop is the Gold Gondola, the world's longest panoramic gondola. We then explore the Stopića Cave and the village of Sirogojno, home to the ethnological open-air museum, Old Village. The Gostilje Waterfall offers a refreshing sight before we retire for the day at the Pećinar Guesthouse (or similar), a charming rural retreat managed by the Pećinar family for six generations.

Wake up to the chirping of birds and the aroma of Zlatibor food. We then head to the town of Mokra Gora, where we board the famous Sargan Eight Train, a unique narrow-gauge railway. We cross the border into Bosnia to visit Višegrad, a town renowned for its 16th-century bridge over the Drina River. Enjoy a boat ride on the Drina River, offering a unique perspective of the town and the old bridge. After a traditional Bosnian lunch, we return to Mokra Gora and visit Drvengrad-Mećavnik, an ethnic village created by renowned film director Emir Kusturica. We spend the night at Hotel Mećavnik**** (or similar), with the rest of the day at your disposal.

Day five is dedicated to the medieval monasteries of West Serbia. We traverse the picturesque Golija Mountain to reach the 12th-century Monastery Studenica, considered the most beautiful Serbian monastery. We then descend to the Valley of Kings, named so due to the numerous endowments built by Serbian medieval rulers. After a hearty lunch in a 200-year-old family-run tavern, we visit the 13th-century Monastery Žiča. We reach Belgrade in the evening, where we check into Hotel City Savoy**** (or similar) for a two-night stay.

Day six is all about exploring the vibrant city of Belgrade. We start with the iconic Belgrade Fortress, then move to the posh neighborhood of Dedinje to visit the House of Flowers, the final resting place of former Yugoslavian president Tito. We then visit the St. Sava Church, the largest Orthodox Church in the Balkans. After a lunch of local cuisine, we head to Zemun, a charming part of the city that was a separate town until 1934. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Danube promenade or a drink at a local café. The rest of the day is yours to explore Belgrade at your own pace.
