Embark on a seven-day cycling adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Slovenia. This multi-day tour offers an immersive experience into the country's picturesque capital, Ljubljana, the largest shepherds' settlement in Europe, Velika Planina, and the stunning alpine glacial valleys of Logar Valley. The journey continues through Austria, the Jezersko region, and the third-largest village of Slovenia, Kranj. The tour concludes with a visit to the European gem, Lake Bled. Along the way, enjoy local cuisine, stay in charming accommodations, and soak in the beauty of Slovenia's natural wonders.

We’ll welcome you to the start of your tour, talk you through the week ahead and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a great ride.
Guests receive a detailled digital Road Book, containing routes, route descriptions, details of hotels and our recommended places to stop along the way and enjoy in the evenings. Guests can choose to navigate from their own phone or GPS devices are available on request.
On a self-guided tour we take care of your luggage and move it from hotel to hotel. We also provide a contact number for support during the trip and will help you out of any situation.
We recommend that guests are able to fix a puncture and perform basic roadside bike repairs to best enjoy a self-gudied tour.

Your Slovenian adventure begins in the charming capital city of Ljubljana. Upon arrival, enjoy a light lunch before embarking on a warm-up ride along local gravel paths. In the evening, explore the city's culinary scene with our recommended dining spots. Rest for the night at the Lesar Hotel (or similar).
Day 2 – Day 2: Ljubljana to Velika Planina

Cycle north to Velika Planina, Europe's largest shepherds' settlement. As you ride into the Slavik mountains, the route gradually inclines. Enjoy a local evening meal complemented by fresh mountain air and stunning views. Spend the night in the cozy chalets on Velika Planina (or similar).
Day 3 – Day 3: Velika Planina to Logar Valley

Start the day with a downhill ride from the shepherds' settlement, followed by a few undulating hills leading into the Logar Valley. This beautiful region is known for its alpine glacial valleys flowing into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Recharge at the outdoor spa of Hotel Plesnik (or similar) while enjoying the serene alpine views.

Today's ride, though less elevated, is no less challenging. Start with a climb into Austria before descending into the Jezersko region of Slovenia. After a coffee break, continue on a wide gravel path surrounded by alpine forest until you reach Kranj, Slovenia's third-largest village. Enjoy an evening meal at Hiša Aleš (or similar), known for its first-grade food and wine experience.

Begin the day with a leisurely ride into the Bela peč forest, known for its isolated farms. From here, the climbing begins. Expect mixed terrain as you ride into Lake Bohinj. Spend the night at Hotel Bohinj (or similar), nestled in the heart of this natural paradise.

The final stage of the tour takes you to the European gem, Lake Bled. Start by riding into the depths of the Triglav National Park. Follow the Triglav Bistrica stream flowing from the glacial Vrata Valley to the Pericnik Waterfall. After recharging, head towards Lake Bled. Wind down with a lake view and a celebratory drink at the Bled Rose Hotel (or similar).
