We’ll welcome you to the start of your tour, talk you through the week ahead and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a great ride.
Guests receive a detailled digital Road Book, containing routes, route descriptions, details of hotels and our recommended places to stop along the way and enjoy in the evenings. Guests can choose to navigate from their own phone or GPS devices are available on request.
On a self-guided tour we take care of your luggage and move it from hotel to hotel. We also provide a contact number for support during the trip and will help you out of any situation.
We recommend that guests are able to fix a puncture and perform basic roadside bike repairs to best enjoy a self-gudied tour.

Begin your adventure in Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana. After meeting the team at your hotel, embark on a warm-up ride to the nearby village of Besnica. Along the way, take a detour to explore the historic Ljubljana Castle, a medieval fortress with roots in the 12th century. End the day with a delightful aperitif at one of Ljubljana's best rooftop bars, offering panoramic views of the city. Overnight stay will be at Lesar Hotel (or similar).

Day three presents a thrilling challenge as you climb into Austria, gaining 700 metres over a 9 km stretch. After a brief descent, tackle a gentler climb into the Jezersko region of Slovenia. Enjoy a well-deserved rest at Lake Bled, a stunning alpine lake known for its iconic island church. Overnight stay will be at Villa Alpina (or similar).

Day four offers a choice between a rest day or a recovery ride to Lake Bohinj, where the mountains reflect beautifully on the lake's surface. Day five is a day of exhilaration as you tackle the Vršič Pass, also known as the Russian Road. This historic military route features 50 hairpin turns and offers breathtaking views. After the thrilling ride, arrive in Bovec, a charming town nestled in the Soca Valley. Take a refreshing swim in the valley to recharge. Overnight stay will be at Hotel Dobra Vila Bovec (or similar).
