16-Day Tour from Barcelona to Portugal and Andalusia

Welcome to Barcelona! Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel, the Hesperia President (or similar). The rest of the day is yours to relax and settle in.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a morning city tour of Barcelona. Drive along the city's main avenues, marvel at Gaudi's modernist buildings like La Pedrera and Casa Milá, and visit the iconic Sagrada Familia. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight at the Hesperia President (or similar).

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the train station for a high-speed train ride to Madrid. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, the Hyatt Regency Madrid (or similar).

Start your day with a guided city tour of Madrid. Explore the historic Barrio de la Morería, the grand Plaza Mayor, the majestic Royal Palace, and the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a delightful tapas dinner. Overnight at the Hyatt Regency Madrid (or similar).

After breakfast, we set off for Portugal, stopping first in the university city of Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After some free time, we continue to Porto, one of the oldest European towns and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight at the BessaHotel Boavista or Vila Gale Porto (or similar).

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Porto. Visit the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Santa Clara church. Then, embark on a Douro River Cruise and visit the famous Port Wine Cellars for a wine tasting experience. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at the BessaHotel Boavista or Vila Gale Porto (or similar).

After breakfast, we depart for Coimbra, home to one of the oldest universities in Europe. After some free time, we continue to Fatima, a renowned Christian pilgrimage site. Here, you'll visit the impressive Basilica and the Chapel of the Apparitions. In the evening, you may choose to attend the candlelight procession. Overnight at the Santa Maria, Aurea, Regina, or Estrela (or similar).

After breakfast, we depart for the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré and the historic Alcobaça Monastery. Our journey ends in Lisbon, where you'll spend the night at the Lutécia or VIP Hotels (or similar).

After breakfast, join a morning city sightseeing tour of Lisbon. Visit the Belem Tower, the Jeronimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoverers. In the afternoon, explore the nostalgic corners of the Alfama Quarter. In the evening, enjoy a typical Portuguese dinner and a Fado show. Overnight at the Lutécia or VIP Hotels (or similar).

After breakfast, we head back to Spain, stopping first in Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic, and Italian Renaissance architecture. We then continue to Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Overnight at the Hesperia Cordoba (or similar).

After breakfast, discover the impressive Cordoba's Mosque and stroll through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, continue your journey towards Seville. Overnight at the Melia Lebreros or Hesperia Sevilla (or similar).

After breakfast, embark on a morning city tour of Seville. Visit the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world, explore the Santa Cruz quarter, and admire the Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight at the Melia Lebreros or Hesperia Sevilla (or similar).

After breakfast, we drive south to the town of Ronda, where you'll have some free time to admire the view. We then continue to LA Organic for an authentic Olive Oil Experience. Our journey ends at the beautiful Costa del Sol, where you'll spend the night at the Sol Principe, Sol Don Pablo, or Sol Don Marco (or similar).

After breakfast, we depart for Granada. Visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and the Generalife Gardens. After some time at leisure, join your fellow travelers for an authentic Gypsy Flamenco show, including dinner. Overnight at the Catalonia Granada or Sabica (or similar).

After breakfast, we head to the imperial city of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided city tour through its narrow streets before continuing to Madrid. Overnight at the Hyatt Regency Madrid (or similar).
