The walk back to Zuheros, through holm oak woods and along the Río Bailón, takes around 5 hours.

Hike to a forested beauty spot called Banos de Popea, a series of pools and waterfalls of great beauty. After a picnic, head to Córdoba, where you'll admire the city skyline dominated by the Cathedral-Mosque from the old Roman bridge.

Enter the incredible and utterly unique Cathedral-Mosque, the city's main place of worship from the 8th century to this day. Enjoy the afternoon free to explore further before a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye. Depart from Córdoba, with minivan transfers to the station for your onward journey. Alternatively, you may choose to extend your stay and continue exploring this captivating region.
