Embark on an unforgettable journey through the heart of Spain on this multi-day tour. Starting in the historic city of Burgos, you'll traverse the rural landscapes of Meseta, explore quaint villages, and marvel at architectural wonders. This tour is not just about the destinations, but the journey itself, as you follow the Camino trail through wheat fields, over hills, and along canals. You'll have the opportunity to visit Gothic cathedrals, 13th-century churches, and examples of Spain's earliest mudéjar architecture. The tour concludes in the vibrant city of León, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime.

Day 2 – Day 2: Burgos to Hornillos and Isar

Embark on the first stage of the Camino, journeying from Burgos into the rural Meseta landscape. Traverse through fields of wheat, barley, and oats to reach the village of Hornillos. In the afternoon, a short transfer will take you to your overnight accommodation in Isar.

Resume your Camino journey from Hornillos, passing through wheat fields and the Convent of San Antón on your way to Hontanas. Continue your walk to the charming village of Castrojeriz where you'll spend the night.

Leave Castrojeriz and ascend to the Alto de Mostelares, before descending towards the river Piserga. The final part of your day's journey is along the Canal de Castilla, leading you into the historic town of Frómista.

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Carrión de los Condes before setting off on a short walk to the small village of Calzadilla de la Cueza.
Day 7 – Day 7: Calzadilla de la Cueza to Sahagún

From Calzadilla de la Cueza, walk through the villages of Lédigos, Terradillo de Templarios, and Moratinos. Arrive at Sahagún, a town known for its mudéjar style architecture. Spend two nights here to fully explore the town.

Leave Sahagún and cross the bridge over the river Cea. Arrive at Calzada del Coto and follow the path through Bercianos del Camino to reach El Burgo Ranero. In the afternoon, a transfer will take you back to Sahagún.
Day 9 – Day 9: El Burgo Ranero to Mansilla de las Mulas

Transfer back to El Burgo Ranero to continue your walk. This stage leads you to Mansilla de las Mulas, a town not far from León. The two branches of the walk reunite in Mansilla.

Cross the bridges over the rivers Esla and Porma to leave Mansilla. From the Alto del Portillo, enjoy stunning views over the city of León, dominated by its cathedral. A short and steep descent will lead you into the city centre.
