Canary Islands Adventure Tour - 12 days

Your Canary Islands adventure begins as you land in Tenerife. A transfer will take you to your first accommodation, the La Laguna Gran Hotel (or similar), located in the historic center of San Christobal de La Laguna. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the surroundings or relaxing at the hotel.

Today, we head to the Teide National Park, known for its impressive volcanic landscape. If the weather permits, take a cable car to the summit of Teide, the highest mountain in Spain. Next, we visit the charming town of La Orotava, where we stroll through the picturesque old town and admire the historic villas and churches. The day ends with a visit to a small, family-run bodega for a wine tasting. Return to the La Laguna Gran Hotel (or similar) for the night.

We take a ferry to La Gomera, the next island on our itinerary. Our first stop is the Garajonay National Park, known for its lush laurel forests. After a short hike, we head to our accommodation, the Parador de la Gomera (or similar), a former manor house located above the island's capital, San Sebastian.

Today, we delve into the traditional handicrafts of La Gomera. We start at the Chipude fortress, a significant religious site of the indigenous people, and then visit the Las Loceras Interpretation Center, dedicated to the history and tradition of pottery on the island. We also visit an active pottery workshop and the Montoro winery for a 'tasting of sensations'. The day ends at the Parador de la Gomera (or similar).

After breakfast, we set off for the port to take the ferry to Tenerife, and then a flight to La Palma. Known as the 'Isla Bonita', La Palma boasts untouched nature, lush greenery, and volcanic landscapes. We arrive at our accommodation, the Hotel La Palma Romantica (or similar), in the late afternoon.

Today, we explore the lush nature of La Palma on a tour of the island. We visit La Caldera de Taburiente National Park, known for its spectacular volcanic crater, and Cumbre Vieja National Park, the site of the island's last volcanic eruption. In the evening, depending on the moon phase and weather conditions, we participate in stargazing. Overnight at the Hotel La Palma Romantica (or similar).

Today, we explore the east of the island, starting with the capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma. We then head to the southern tip of the island to visit the salt pans and the lighthouse of Fuencaliente. We also visit the Finca Experimental de Garafia, which tests new methods and varieties for the cultivation of fruit and vegetables on La Palma. Return to the Hotel La Palma Romantica (or similar) for the night.

We fly from La Palma via Tenerife to El Hierro, the smallest island in the Canary Islands. We start our exploration of the island with a visit to the island's capital, Villa del Valverde, and the Ecomuseo de Guinea museum. We then check into our accommodation, the Lua Botique Hotel (or similar), located in El Pinar del Hierro.

Today, we discover the most beautiful places on El Hierro, including Charco Azul, the Orchilla lighthouse, and the La Llanía laurel forest. We also visit the natural monument Las Playas and the Sabinar juniper forest. The day ends with a visit to one of the best cheese dairies in Spain for a tasting. Overnight at the Lua Botique Hotel (or similar).

We return to Tenerife, where our journey began ten days ago. Spend the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring the surroundings. In the evening, we gather for a fantastic farewell dinner. Overnight at the La Laguna Gran Hotel (or similar).

Today, it's time to say goodbye to the Canary Islands. After breakfast, a transfer will take you to the airport for your flight home. We hope you enjoyed your journey and look forward to welcoming you back soon!
