Immerse yourself in the captivating landscapes of Spain with our six-day cycling tour. Starting from the vibrant city of Barcelona, we journey through the picturesque countryside to Girona, where we set up base at the Hotel Carlemany (or similar). Our tour is designed to cater to different cycling levels, with two groups splitting off for different routes on most days. We'll explore the rolling hills of Banyoles, the tranquil town of Sant Hilari Sacalm, and the stunning Costa Brava coastline. Along the way, we'll enjoy local cuisine, including a paella night and a celebratory meal at the Eat Sleep Cycle Café. This multi-day tour is not just about cycling; it's about experiencing the culture, cuisine, and charm of Spain.

Enjoy full ride support from our professional guide team & support vehicle.
The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water, as well as a full set of tools to resolve any mechanicals. On selected days the support crew will serve a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic location en route. Enjoy local foods chosen to keep you feeling energized and healthy.

All guests will receive access to our digital Road Book and routes, giving everyone the flexibility to ride at their own pace.

Day 1 – Day 1: Barcelona to Girona

We'll start our tour with an optional transfer from Barcelona Airport to Girona. Once in Girona, we'll meet at the Eat Sleep Cycle hub for a tour brief and bike set-up. We'll then embark on our first warm-up ride. After a day of cycling, we'll unwind with a light lunch at the Eat Sleep Cycle Café and settle in at the Hotel Carlemany (or similar) for the night.

After a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel, we'll cycle to the town of Banyoles, known for its stunning lake. We'll take a break for a lakeside coffee before heading back to Girona for lunch. In the evening, we'll enjoy a meal at a local Catalan restaurant.

On day three, we'll split into two groups for the second half of the ride. The longer group will ride to Sant Hilari Sacalm, known for its pleasant climb. After the ride, we'll return to Girona, where you'll have the evening free to explore the city and choose your own dining experience.

Day four brings us to one of Girona's classic climbs, Els Angels. After the climb, the group will split, with one group returning to Girona and the other completing the Hincapie Loop. In the evening, we'll gather for a presentation on Physiotherapy for Cyclists, followed by a paella night.

On the penultimate day of our tour, we'll ride out to the stunning Costa Brava coastline, stopping at Tossa de Mar for lunch at the beach. The first group will then be transferred back to Girona, while the second group will cycle back. We'll end the day with a celebratory meal at the Eat Sleep Cycle Café.
