They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Madrid

Welcome to the vibrant city of Madrid! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will arrange for your transfer to your hotel. Once you've settled in, you'll find details of a welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers in the hotel reception area.
Day 2 – Day 2: Madrid to Oviedo via Tordesillas and Leon

We'll start our day early, heading towards the historical town of Tordesillas. Here, we'll take a break to enjoy a coffee and learn about the town's rich history. Our journey continues to Leon, a city steeped in history and home to the stunning Gothic cathedral. After lunch, we'll traverse the breathtaking Cantabrian Range mountains, arriving in Oviedo in the evening. A local guide will take us on a tour of the city, including its 9th-century cathedral, the Calatrava Congressional Palace, Campoamor Theatre, and Calle de la Rua.

Our journey continues to the Picos de Europa where we'll visit the enchanting Basilica of Covadonga, nestled amidst stunning scenery. We'll then travel along the coastline to Santillana, one of Spain's most picturesque towns. Here, we'll explore its well-preserved medieval quarter and visit the Museum of the Altamira Caves. Our day concludes in the elegant coastal city of Santander, where we'll embark on a city tour to discover its beautiful bay and beaches.

We'll start the day by traveling along the Cantabrian coast, taking in the stunning views of the sea and mountains. Our first stop is Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque Country. Here, we'll enjoy a city tour with a local guide, visiting the Guggenheim area, the old quarter, and the Cathedral. After some free time to enjoy the local cuisine, we'll continue our journey back to Madrid, arriving in the evening.
