Welcome to Madrid, the sun-drenched capital of Spain. Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be transferred to your centrally-located hotel where you'll stay for two nights. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, settling into the vibrant city life.

Start your day with a guided walking tour of Madrid. Discover the city's bustling centre and vibrant past as you visit the beautiful Sabatini Gardens and the iconic Gran Via. After the tour, spend the rest of the day exploring the city at your own pace.

Today, you'll be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Porto. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by the captain and crew of your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship. Spend the evening getting acquainted with your fellow guests over dinner on board.

Enjoy a full day of sailing through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Douro Valley. This region is renowned for its two millennia of wine producing history, shaping the landscape with vineyards and quaint villages. In the evening, join a welcome dinner and cocktail reception. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in a Portuguese cooking demonstration on board.

Start your day with a visit to the Quinta do Tedo vineyard, an 18th-century estate nestled at the confluence of the Douro and Tedo rivers. You can choose to walk through the vineyards or embark on a kayak excursion along the river. In the afternoon, sail to Vega de Terrón and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Travel to the ancient city of Salamanca, known for its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Quarter. Enjoy a walking tour that includes the stunning Plaza Mayor, the shell-adorned Casa de las Conchas, and the historic Salamanca University. You'll also have the chance to enjoy a performance by a traditional Tuna music band.

Arrive in Pocinho in the morning and visit the Côa Valley Museum. Afterward, return to your Star-Ship for lunch and a Port wine cocktail lesson as you sail towards Régua. In the evening, enjoy a rural dinner at a local wine estate.

Visit the charming Baroque village of Lamego, home to the picturesque Shrine of Our Lady of Remedies. If you're up for a challenge, walk down the 686 steps from the Sanctuary to the main square. You'll also have the chance to participate in a mosaic tile painting lesson on board your Star-Ship.

Arrive in Porto, a city known for its Port wines and a mix of modern and ancient architecture. Your guided tour will include visits to the fortified Castelo da Foz and Castelo do Queijo. For a more active option, join a guided walk through the city. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a scenic cruise through Porto.

After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to your Star-Ship and fellow guests. As you depart, take with you the unforgettable memories of sun-drenched vineyards and the rich cultural experiences of Spain and Portugal.
