Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. At 19:00, you'll meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers at the hotel's reception desk for a welcome meeting. The rest of the day is yours to relax and settle in.
Day 2 – Day 2: Discovering Barcelona

After a full buffet breakfast at your hotel, we'll embark on a city tour of Barcelona. We'll visit the Barcelona Pavilion, a study in minimalism, and the iconic Sagrada Familia, designed by Antoni Gaudí. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. In the evening, we'll gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, we'll depart for Girona, where you'll have free time to explore the preserved old quarter of this ancient city. We'll then cross the border into France and continue to Carcassonne. After breakfast, we'll depart for Nimes, often referred to as the 'French Rome' due to its array of Roman monuments. We'll visit the Arena of Nimes and the Maison Carrée, then continue to the Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today, we'll explore Avignon, the capital of Provence. We'll visit the Palais des Papes, one of the largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings in Europe, and admire the Pont d'Avignon. In the afternoon, you have the option to join a Rhone River cruise to Villeneuve les Avignon.

Our first activity of the day will take us to the charming town of Chateauneuf du Pape, renowned for its wine. We'll visit one of the most beautiful cellars in Provence for a unique wine tasting experience and a light lunch.

We'll leave France behind and cross another European border, heading for Milan, the northern capital of Italy. Known as one of the world's four fashion capitals, Milan is also home to the fifth-largest cathedral in the world and the prestigious La Scala opera house.

We'll start the day with an early departure to the beautiful Lake Garda, where we'll enjoy a boat trip and a light lunch. We'll then continue to Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, before finally arriving in Venice, the city of canals.
