Experience the sensory delights of Fez, the most ancient of the imperial capitals. Start your day with a visit to the Medina, the King's Palace, and the Jewish quarter. Take in the panoramic view of the Medina from Merinides Hill before entering the ancient world of Fez. Visit the Great Mosque University of Al Quarrawiyyine, the Nejjarine Square, and the Seffarine Square. End your day with a traditional mint tea in a local Fez family home before returning to your hotel for dinner.

Discover the rural charm of Morocco as you traverse the Atlas Mountains, dotted with Berber villages and nomadic settlements. Stop at the town of Ifrane and the market center of Azrou. Encounter Barbary apes in a cedar forest and meet a nomadic family in their encampment. Descend the Atlas Mountains to the oasis city of Marrakech, where you'll spend the night.
