Morocco (from Spain) - 6 Days

Begin your Moroccan adventure at Tangier Port, where you'll meet your guide and set off for the ancient city of Fez. Along the way, you'll stop at the picturesque town of Chefcahaouen, explore the well-preserved Roman city of Volubilis, and visit the sacred citadel of Moulay Idris. You'll also take a detour to Meknes, a 17th-century city known as the Versailles of Morocco. Upon reaching Fez, you'll get a taste of this ninth-century city by visiting its ramparts, gates, and Moorish forts. Your day ends with a delightful dinner at your hotel, the Hotel Across (or similar).

Spend your second day delving into the rich history and vibrant culture of Fez. Start with a visit to the King's Palace and its majestic gates, then explore the Jewish quarter with its Moorish architecture and Sephardic synagogues. Take a drive up to Merinides Hill for a panoramic view of the city, then descend to the ancient Medina, where you'll encounter traditional guilds, bustling markets, and historic sites like the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Great Mosque University of Al Quarrawiyyine. After a day of exploration, return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

On day three, you'll journey through the stunning landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, stopping at the Swiss-like town of Ifrane and the important Berber market center of Azrou. You may also have the chance to meet the Barbary apes in a cedar forest and encounter a nomadic family in their encampment. As you descend the Atlas Mountains, you'll be greeted by the oasis city of Marrakech, where you'll spend the night at the Hotel Mogador Opera (or similar).

Dedicate your fourth day to exploring the historical sites of Marrakech. Begin at the Menara, a beautiful pool surrounded by flowerbeds, then visit the Koutoubia Minaret and the Saadien tombs. In the afternoon, you'll explore the lush Agdal and Marjorelle gardens. After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

On the fifth day, you'll travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you'll explore the Jewish quarter, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Hassan Tower. You'll also visit the Mohamed the V Mausoleum and the ancient necropolis of Chellah. After a day of discovery, you'll retire to your hotel, the Hotel Oudaya (or similar), for dinner and rest.

On the final day of your tour, you'll return to Tangier, where you'll take a ferry back to Spain. This marks the end of your memorable journey through Morocco, filled with rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes.
