Welcome to Madrid, the enchanting capital of Spain. Upon your arrival, you'll have the day to explore the city at your leisure. Visit the world-class museums or stroll through the expansive El Retiro Park. In the evening, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers for a welcome meeting and dinner. This morning, we head south to La Rioja Alavesa, a region renowned for its quality Rioja wines. We'll visit a local winery to learn about the wine-making process and sample some exquisite wines. Today, we journey through the regions of Navarra and Aragon, stopping at Pamplona and the historic town of Olite. We'll join a section of the Camino de Santiago and visit the grand cathedral in Pamplona. In the afternoon, we reach Zaragoza, where we'll explore the city's Moorish architecture and visit the impressive El Pilar Cathedral. Overnight stay will be in a hotel in Zaragoza (or similar).
