Portugal, Andalucia & Mediterranean Coast, 12 days

We start our journey from the bus terminal at 7:45 am, heading towards the region of Extremadura. Our first stop is Trujillo, the birthplace of Spanish conquerors. Here, you'll have free time to explore the beautiful and monumental Plaza Mayor. We then cross the Portuguese border to reach Lisbon, the capital city located at the mouth of the river Tagus. After settling into our accommodations, you have the option to attend a Fado show, featuring typical Portuguese songs and music.

After breakfast, we embark on a city sightseeing tour of Lisbon. We'll visit the old Alfama Quarter, the Tower of Belem, and the Monastery of Los Jeronimos. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. Optionally, you can join an excursion to Sintra, Estoril, and Cascais.

After breakfast, we depart for Fatima, an important center of pilgrimage. You'll have free time to visit the Shrine and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. We then return to Lisbon for the night.

After breakfast, we depart for the Spanish border and continue to Caceres. You'll have leisure time to explore its Plaza Mayor and walk through the old city and its famous medieval quarter, a well-preserved World Heritage site. After lunch, we head southwards to Andalucia and arrive in Sevilla, where we'll have dinner and settle into our accommodations.

We start the day with a city tour of Sevilla, visiting the Park of María Luisa, Plaza de España, the outskirts of the great Cathedral and its Giralda Tower, and the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter. You can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir river, enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or visit the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, you have the option to attend a flamenco show.

After breakfast, we depart for Cordoba. Upon arrival, we start our walking tour at the Almodovar Gate, through the Jewish Quarter, and continue to visit the famous Mosque/Cathedral. The afternoon is at your leisure. We'll have dinner and spend the night in Cordoba.

After breakfast, we depart for the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. You'll have free time to explore these picturesque locations. We then continue to Costa del Sol, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast, we depart for Granada. We'll visit the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, the former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens, and arches. After dinner, you have the option to visit the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco.

After breakfast, we depart via Guadix, Baza, and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and Valencia. We'll settle into our accommodations in Valencia for the night.

After breakfast and some free time in Valencia, we depart mid-morning for Barcelona. Upon arrival, we'll settle into our accommodations.

After breakfast, we embark on a city sightseeing tour of Barcelona. We'll visit the Park of Montjuic with spectacular views, the Olympic Ring, the monument to Columbus, and the old Gothic Quarter. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. Optionally, you can join a night tour through the wide avenues and lighted buildings and fountains.

After breakfast, we depart through Lerida and Zaragoza. You'll have free time to explore these cities. We then continue to Madrid, marking the end of our memorable tour.
