We'll depart Porto for Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado music. After some free time, we'll continue to Fatima, a center of Christian faith and a world pilgrimage sanctuary. We'll visit the impressive Basilica, the Cova da Iria, and the Chapel of the Apparitions. In the evening, you may choose to attend the procession of the candles. We'll stay overnight at Sao José or a similar hotel.

We'll leave the Costa del Sol and head to Tarifa or Algeciras, where we'll take a ferry across the strait of Gibraltar to Africa. After arriving in Tangier and clearing customs, we'll drive to Meknes for a brief stop before continuing to Fez. We'll spend the day exploring Fez, the religious capital of Morocco. We'll have dinner and stay overnight at the Menzeh Zalagh, Volubilis, or a similar hotel.

Optionally, you can enjoy a typical dinner at Fantasia Chez Ali under Kaidal tents. We'll stay overnight at the Mogador Kasbah, Meriem, Ayoub, or a similar hotel.
