Many people mistakenly think that bullfighting is an extinct activity. This is very far from the reality.

Almost every city, town and village are having bullfights and bull runs at least once a year.

In the villages the bullfight is carried out in the central square or in a mobile arena rented for the event. The bigger towns and cities have their “Plaza de toros”, which is a permanent establishment that can be used several times a year.
