Best Sorrento cooking school

We love Chef Carmen! This was our second year taking a cooking class with her. She immediately makes you feel at home and treats you like family. My 5 year old can be quite shy, and was horrified to find out she would have to get her hands dirty to make pasta dough. Carmen made her feel at ease, told me not to worry about a thing, and before class was over that kid was elbow deep in egg yolks and flour having the time of her life! Moms and kids spent the afternoon cooking, then dads and grandparents came and joined us for dinner- eating what we made during class. The kids were so proud of themselves and everything was delicious! Thank you Carmen for the wonderful memories, we can’t wait to come back next year!

It was our first time doing anything like this on holiday so I was a bit nervous about what to expect, but Chef Carmen was fabulous! She was very welcoming, very entertaining and my husband, daughters (14 and 9) and I had great fun making pasta and gnocchi for a couple of hours...and then eating it! Would definitely look to do another class if we ever return to Sorrento :)

Wonderful experience! It was a rainy day in Sorrento so we decided to book this experience last minute. It was a total blast, wine pours freely with lots of laughter and great food 100% recommend. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Chef Carmen is an absolute gem! She was so kind funny and a wonderful host and chef! Me and my 6 friends were coming to Sorrento from Positano for just one night and she accommodated everything. Constant communication and flexibility allowed for us to have an easy transition from ferry to class then even to our Airbnb! She helped us the entire way and we really felt like she treated us like family! NOT TO MENTION THE CLASS AND FOOD WERE SOME OF THE BEST I HAD IN ITALY!! She is 100% worth the experience and would come again!

Chef Carmen is EXTREMELY vivacious and she makes learning how to cook the authentic Italian way fun with no pressure! A true testament of someone who LOVES what they do! The class was very lighthearted and even if you were nervous, that quickly melted away as you have unlimited wine of your choice poured at your workstation to help you take the edge off if you’re not exactly a social butterfly. If you happen to be a social butterfly, then you’d be in your element! My only ‘regret’ was not setting up my tripod to document how awesome it was but…gives us a reason to come back! It was a fun, engaging and informative class! “Piano-Piano!”

Truly the highlight of our trip to Sorrento! Carmen is outstanding - so knowledgeabe and she communicated so well as she taught us to make our homemade fettucini, eggplant parmesan and tiramasou. We had an amazing time. We highly recommend to all to put this on your itinerary in visiting Sorrento - you won't be dissapointedThank you Carmen - ypu are the best.

Chef Carmen is simply the best. Fun music and atmosphere. Our food was fabulous - she was great at instructions and tolerated our shenanigans. Chef Carmen was so much fun, danced with our group and provided great instructions. A must do if in Sorrento!

So much fun. We had an absolute blast! This was a highlight of our trip for sure. Chef Carmen was so wonderful. Music, food, and ambiance were exceptional. WE LOVE CHEF CARMEN, and couldn't recommend her more highly.
